MarketFest: In Peace & Friendship

Wilfrid Laurier University’s Brantford campus is kicking off its *25th anniversary* with MarketFest, a two-day celebration of contemporary Indigenous artists, thinkers and makers. Join us at 1 Market Street in downtown Brantford on Friday, Sept. 27 from 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  for:

·         An Indigenous vendor marketplace curated by Indigenous artist and Laurier alumna Alanah Jewell of Morningstar Designs  

·         Live music by Little Creek Singers, Six Nations Women Singers, Lacey Hill and James Wilson

·         Public lectures by Darren Thomas, Phil Monture and Paul Racher
