The Economic Development Trust’s provided our community radio station, CKRZ 100.3 FM the opportunity to soar to new heights in the digital broadcasting industry. The community investment of $210,000  has allowed us to purchase a Wheatstone Console, STAC VIP phone system for phone in radio shows, new processors, mixers, live remote equipment and studio hardware. With these technological upgrade, CKRZ is able to compete as an industry standard radio station offering up-to-date learning experiences for Secondary and Post- Secondary students and Employment and Training clients in the areas of: broadcasting, journalism, sales and marketing, business administration and media arts. The most significant impact will be to the Six Nations community and their ability to access emergency information through the combination of our CRTC approved 5000 watt increase and our connection to the National Alert Aggregation & Dissemination System (NAAD System). CKRZ would like to thank the Economic Development Trust for their investment in our community and our future.
